About the WASA Eagles FC:
Ø Founded in 1997, we have a commitment to develop the player’s soccer skills to their greatest potential AND to
foster an attitude of respect (please see codes of conduct and philosophy on our website).
Ø Our coaches provide mature and stable leadership, dedicated to the long term development of players.
Ø We offer free goalkeeper training sessions throughout the year.
Ø While being very competitive, we continually strive to keep it FUN!
Rob Smith and Training "Crew"
Rob Smith is our Director of Player Development. Rob is a former member of the USA Olympic team and the Columbus
Crew. Rob,along with several current and former Columbus Crew players and local college standouts, will provide each team
with weekly training sessions in the fall and spring (built into the fee structure).
Joining the WASA Eagles will likely save you time & money compared with most other select soccer clubs.
• Fees, per player, range from $450 to 550 per outdoor season, depending on the team, and includes
everything except indoor soccer (optional) and uniform. Scholarship funds are available for those in need. Please ask!
• Plus, we maintain a limited and what we believe to be age appropriate out-of-town tournament schedule,
which saves on travel/hotel/food (typical out-of-town = Dayton, Cincinnati, or other Ohio tournaments).
• The quality of instruction and degree of competitiveness is high … but our fees are not.
Exciting
new opportunity for U12 girls, U13 boys and girls, U14 and 15 boys
The Classics
Eagles alliance will provide the best in training and coaching and a team that is the best possible fit for the individual
player.

What about conflicts with other sports?
We piloted a new multi-sport team in spring '08, and have
expanded it for those interested. The idea is to embrace and encourage kids who
are involved in football, basketball, hockey, baseball, lacrosse, bmx, swimming, snowboarding, skateboarding, band, et al. The concept is to play in fewer tournaments, practice less, and be more flexible than
the “norm” with participation expectations – particularly for 8 to 12 year olds. It enables kids to explore other activities, while playing very competitive select soccer.

6841 Freeman Rd, Westerville, OH 43082

right at the end of the ramp heading east on Polaris Parkway. Turn left at light onto North State Street (aka
Rt. 3 and Westerville Road) heading north. Turn right onto Freeman Road which is a little less than 2 miles from the
Polaris/Maxtown intersection. Take the first left into church parking lot. The field is behind the
church.

Parkway then refer to the above directions.
From the East: Take 270 to 161/New

bends to the right onto 161 heading east. Stay in the right lane and get off on the Sunbury Road/Hoover Dam exit.
At the end of the offramp bear right, heading north on Sunbury Road. When you reach the intersection of Sunbury

Turn right, heading north, at the 4th traffic light onto North State Street (aka Rt.3 and Westerville Road) approximately

under 6 miles south of the intersection of Rt's 3 and 36. Take the first left into church parking lot.
The field is behind the church.
Other:
There is a playground area for siblings. There are no bleachers, so portable chairs
might be helpful. Plenty of parking in the church lot.
